Artist Statement:

Nature has inspired my collections of works. I have worked with watercolors, acrylics, gouache, graphite, colored pencil, charcoal, digital media and glass mosaic to express my subjects in a realistic and sometimes abstract form. Evoking the vibrancy of color, texture and the fluidity of nature to bring to life these installations.
In my works that adopt a human theme, my focus is on emotion and how it translates into a universal language that can have a diverse significance for every individual. I explore the themes of harmony and disharmony, uniformity and individualism that are universal to the human experience.
